• In 1992, Edison’s franchise of Ford was expanded to include the Sales of Ford Cars, Trucks and other Ford products.
• In early 1994, Edison Mobile established a Parts and Service facility at 29 EDSA Greenhills, San Juan, Metro Manila, in order to serve the Ford customers better.
• 1994 saw a rise in demand for Ford vehicles. The business expanded from a purely parts and service operation into automotive retail sales. This same year, the business changed its name from Edison Mobile to American Automotive Center.
• American Automotive Center began the importation, marketing, and retail sales of Complete Build-Up (CBU) Ford Vehicles. This made the Ford vehicles available to the Philippine market, with such vehicles like the Expedition, F-150 truck, Explorer, Ranger, Lynx, Town Car and E-150 Club Wagon.
• In 1998, Ford Motor Company opened up its manufacturing plant in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. They also took over the responsibility of importation and marketing of CBU vehicles. Consequently, this allowed Ford EDSA to focus its efforts on retail sales and after-sales service.
