As part of its commitment to Ford’s Four Brand Pillars, Quality, Smart, Safe and Green, Ford EDSA Greenhills is proud to participate in the #GreenerMNL Movement. The primary objective of this movement is to incorporate Agriculture in urban setting. Spearheaded by MNL Growkits, #GreenerMNL supports the livelihood project of Tsaa Laya in Kiangan, Ifugao.

Tsaa Laya aims to develop tea farming as a sustainable livelihood of farmers working in heritage rice terraces in this region. Not only does supporting Ifugao farmers provide them income, it also encourages them to make productive use of abandoned rice terraces, further preserving these world heritage sites for generations to follow.

The #GreenerMNL Movement will complement the organic farming traditions of the Ifugaos by providing them organic fertilizers through the collective donation from those who will participate in the online and retail movement for cultivating their Tsaa Laya teas.

How you can get involved:

We invite you to snap a photo with our #GreenerMNL Ranger and post it on social media with the hashtag #GreenerMNL. For every public post with use of the hashtag, 50g of Organic Fertilizer will be donated to Mint Farmers in Kiangan, Ifugao.

We are also giving away Growkits!
